Zechariah 9:11

11As for you also, because of bthe blood of my covenant with you,
cI will set your prisoners free from dthe waterless pit.

1 Corinthians 10:16-21

16 eThe cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? fThe bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? 17Because there is one bread, we who are many are gone body, for we all partake of the one bread. 18Consider hthe people of Israel:
Greek  Consider Israel according to the flesh
jare not those who eat the sacrifices participants in the altar?
19What do I imply then? That food offered to idols is anything, or that kan idol is anything? 20No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice lthey offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 mYou cannot drink the cup of the Lord and nthe cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and othe table of demons.

1 Corinthians 11:25

25In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

6But as it is, Christ
Greek he
has obtained a ministry that is qas much more excellent than the old as rthe covenant she mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.
7 tFor if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion to look for a second.

8For he finds fault with them when he says:
Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

vBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 wFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and xwrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall yall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
zand I will remember their sins no more.”
13In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And aawhat is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 9:17
