16 ^aAnd you shall put into the ark the ^btestimony that I shall give you.

Deuteronomy 10:3-5

3 So I made an ark ^cof acacia wood, and ^dcut two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hand. 4 And ^ehe wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments ^{▼▼Hebrew words} ^gthat the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire ^hon the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me. 5 Then I turned and ⁱcame down from the mountain and ^jput the tablets in the ark that I had made. ^kAnd there they are, as the Lord commanded me.”
