Exodus 25:20-22

20 aThe cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be. 21And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. 22 bThere I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from cbetween the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.

1 Samuel 4:4

4So the people sent to Shiloh and brought from there the ark of the covenant of the Lord of hosts, dwho is enthroned on the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God.

2 Samuel 6:2

2And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from eBaale-judah fto bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts gwho sits enthroned on the cherubim.

Ezekiel 1:13

13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was nlike burning coals of fire, olike the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. pAnd the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Ezekiel 10:4
