Exodus 25:21-22

21 And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. 22 ^aThere I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from ^bbetween the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.

Numbers 4:5

5 When the camp is to set out, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down ^cthe veil of the screen and cover ^dthe ark of the testimony with it.

Numbers 4:15

15 And when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, as the camp sets out, after that ^ethe sons of Kohath shall come to carry these, ^fbut they must not touch the holy things, lest they die. These are the things of the tent of meeting that the sons of Kohath are to carry.

Numbers 10:33

33 So they set out from ^gthe mount of the Lord three days’ journey. And the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them three days’ journey, to seek out ^ha resting place for them.

2 Corinthians 3:14-16

14 But ⁱtheir minds were ^jhardened. For to this day, ^kwhen they read ^lthe old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 16 But when ^mone ^{▼▼Greek he} turns to the Lord, ^othe veil is removed.

Hebrews 9:4-8

4 having the golden ^paltar of incense and ^qthe ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was ^ra golden urn holding the manna, and ^sAaron’s staff that budded, and ^tthe tablets of the covenant. 5 Above it were ^uthe cherubim of glory overshadowing ^vthe mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

6 These preparations having thus been made, ^wthe priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties, 7 but into the second only ^xthe high priest goes, and he but ^yonce a year, and not without taking blood, ^zwhich he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. 8 By this the Holy Spirit indicates that ^aathe way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing
