Exodus 25:31-40

The Golden Lampstand

31 ^a“You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. 32And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 33three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 34And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 35and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. 36Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 37You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps ^bshall be set up so as ^cto give light on the space in front of it. 38Its tongs and their trays shall be of pure gold. 39It shall be made, with all these utensils, out of a talent ▼

of pure gold. 40And ^esee that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.

Exodus 37:17-24

Making the Lampstand

17 ^fHe also made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work. Its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers were of one piece with it. 18And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 19three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 20And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 21and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it. 22Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole of it was a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 23And he made its seven lamps and its tongs and its trays of pure gold. 24He made it and all its utensils out of a talent ▼

Exodus 40:24-25

24 ⁱHe put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle, 25 ^jand set up the lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

7And he made ten golden lampstands ^kas prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.

Zechariah 4:1-3

A Vision of a Golden Lampstand

1And ^lthe angel who talked with me came again ^mand woke me, like a man who is awakened out of his sleep. 2And he said to me, “What do you see?” I said, “I see, and behold, ⁿa lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and ^oseven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it. 3And there are ^ptwo olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”

Zechariah 4:11-14

11Then I said to him, “What are these ^qtwo olive trees on the right and the left of the lampstand?” 12And a second time I answered and said to him, “What are these ^rtwo branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil ▼
