Exodus 26:31-37

31 a“And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and bfine twined linen. It shall be made with cherubim cskillfully worked into it. 32And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, on four bases of silver. 33And you shall hang dthe veil from the clasps, and bring ethe ark of the testimony in there within the veil. And the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy. 34 fYou shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy Place. 35And gyou shall set the table outside the veil, and the hlampstand on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table, and you shall put the table on the north side.

36“You shall make a iscreen for the entrance of the tent, of jblue and purple and scarlet yarns and kfine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. 37And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.

Exodus 36:35-38

35 lHe made the veil of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully worked into it he made it. 36And for it he made four pillars of acacia and overlaid them with gold. Their hooks were of gold, and he cast for them four bases of silver. 37He also made a screen for the entrance of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework, 38and its five pillars with their hooks. He overlaid their capitals, and their fillets were of gold, but their five bases were of bronze.

Leviticus 16:2

2and the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron your brother not to mcome at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For nI will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

Leviticus 16:15

15 o“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring its blood pinside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it over the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat.

Leviticus 21:23

23but he shall not go through the veil or approach the altar, because he has a blemish, that he may not qprofane my sanctuaries, rfor I am the Lord who sanctifies them.”

Matthew 27:51

51And behold, sthe curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And tthe earth shook, and the rocks were split.
