The Priests’ Garments

1 “Then bring near to you ^aAaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the people of Israel, to serve me as priests—Aaron and Aaron’s sons, ^bNadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

Numbers 16:5

5 and he said to Korah and all his company, “In the morning the Lord will show ^cwho is his, ^{▼▼Septuagint The Lord knows those who are his} and who is ^eholy, and will bring him near to him. The one ^fwhom he chooses he will ^gbring near to him.

Numbers 16:40

40 to be a reminder to the people of Israel, so ^hthat no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, should draw near to burn incense before the Lord, lest he become like Korah and his company—as the Lord said to him through Moses.

Numbers 18:7

7 And ⁱyou and your sons with you shall guard your priesthood for all that concerns the altar and ^jthat is within the veil; and you shall serve. I give your priesthood as a gift, ^{▼▼Hebrew service of gift} and ^lany outsider who comes near shall be put to death.”
