Exodus 28:11-12

11As a jeweler engraves signets, so shall you engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel. You shall enclose them in settings of gold filigree. 12And you shall set the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel. And aAaron shall bear their names before the Lord on his two shoulders bfor remembrance.

Exodus 28:21

21There shall be twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They shall be like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.

Exodus 32:16

16 cThe tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

Deuteronomy 27:2-3

2And on the day dyou cross over the Jordan to the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall set up large stones and plaster them with plaster. 3 eAnd you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you cross over to enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you, fa land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you.
