Consecration of the Priests

1“Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. aTake one bull of the herd and two rams without blemish,

Leviticus 4:3

3if it is the anointed priest who bsins, thus bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer for the sin that he has committed ca bull from the herd without blemish to the Lord for a sin offering.

Leviticus 8:14

14Then he brought dthe bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons elaid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

Leviticus 9:7-8

7Then Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar and foffer your sin offering and your burnt offering and gmake atonement for yourself and for the people, and bring the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.”

8So Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
