Consecration of the Priests

1 “Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests. ^aTake one bull of the herd and two rams without blemish,

Leviticus 4:3

3 if it is the anointed priest who ^bsins, thus bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer for the sin that he has committed ^ca bull from the herd without blemish to the Lord for a sin offering.

Leviticus 8:14

14 Then he brought ^dthe bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons ^elaid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.

Leviticus 9:7-8

7 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar and ^foffer your sin offering and your burnt offering and ^gmake atonement for yourself and for the people, and bring the offering of the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.”

8 So Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.
