Exodus 29:12

12and ashall take part of the blood of the bull and put it on the bhorns of the altar with your finger, and the rest of

Exodus 29:20

20and you shall kill the ram and take part of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tips of the right ears of his sons, and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the great toes of their right feet, and throw the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.

Exodus 29:36

36and every day you shall offer a dbull as a sin offering for atonement. Also you shall purify the altar, when you make atonement for it, and shall eanoint it to consecrate it.

Leviticus 8:15

15And he

killed it, and gMoses took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar around it and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it.

Leviticus 8:19

19And he killed it, and Moses threw the blood against the sides of the altar.

Leviticus 9:8-9

8So Aaron drew near to the altar and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself. 9 hAnd the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and iput it on the horns of the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar.

Leviticus 9:18

Leviticus 16:14-19

14And khe shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the front of the mercy seat on the east side, and in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

15 l“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring its blood minside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it over the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat. 16Thus he shall nmake atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleannesses of the people of Israel and because of their transgressions, all their sins. And so he shall do for the tent of meeting, which dwells with them in the midst of their uncleannesses. 17 oNo one may be in the tent of meeting from the time he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his house and for all the assembly of Israel. 18Then he shall go out to the altar that is pbefore the Lord and qmake atonement for it, and shall take some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around. 19And he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it and consecrate it from the uncleannesses of the people of Israel.

2 Chronicles 29:19-22

19All the utensils rthat King Ahaz discarded in his reign when he was faithless, we have made ready and consecrated, and behold, they are before the altar of the Lord.”

Hezekiah Restores Temple Worship

20Then Hezekiah the king rose early and gathered the officials of the city and went up to the house of the Lord. 21And they brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats sfor a sin offering for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah. And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the Lord. 22So they slaughtered the bulls, and the priests received the blood tand threw it against the altar. And they slaughtered the rams, and their blood was thrown against the altar. And they slaughtered the lambs, and their blood was thrown against the altar.
