Exodus 29:38-42
38“Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: atwo lambs a year old bday by day regularly. 39One lamb you shall offer cin the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer dat twilight. 40And with the first lamb a tenth measure ▼▼Possibly an ephah (about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters)
of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin ▼▼A hin was about 4 quarts or 3.5 liters
of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. 41The other lamb you shall offer gat twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as hin the morning, for a ipleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. 42It shall be a jregular burnt offering throughout your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the Lord, kwhere I will meet with you, to speak to you there. Numbers 28:3-8
3 lAnd you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering. 4The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; 5also ma tenth of an ephah ▼▼An ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters
of fine flour for oa grain offering, mixed pwith a quarter of a hin ▼▼A hin was about 4 quarts or 3.5 liters
of beaten oil. 6It is a rregular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. 7Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord. 8The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. Numbers 28:10
10this is sthe burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.Daniel 8:11-13
11 tIt became great, even as great as uthe Prince of the host. vAnd the regular burnt offering was taken away from him, and the place of his sanctuary was overthrown. 12And a host will be given over to it together with the regular burnt offering because of transgression, ▼▼Or in an act of rebellion
and it will throw truth to the ground, and xit will act and prosper. 13Then I heard ya holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, z“For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, aathe transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?” John 1:29
