Exodus 29:39-41
39One lamb you shall offer ain the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer bat twilight. 40And with the first lamb a tenth measure ▼▼Possibly an ephah (about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters)
of fine flour mingled with a fourth of a hin ▼▼A hin was about 4 quarts or 3.5 liters
of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering. 41The other lamb you shall offer eat twilight, and shall offer with it a grain offering and its drink offering, as fin the morning, for a gpleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. Numbers 28:2-10
2“Command the people of Israel and say to them, ‘My offering, hmy food for my food offerings, my ipleasing aroma, you shall be careful to offer to me at its appointed time.’ 3 jAnd you shall say to them, This is the food offering that you shall offer to the Lord: two male lambs a year old without blemish, day by day, as a regular offering. 4The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; 5also ka tenth of an ephah ▼▼An ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters
of fine flour for ma grain offering, mixed nwith a quarter of a hin ▼▼A hin was about 4 quarts or 3.5 liters
of beaten oil. 6It is a pregular burnt offering, which was ordained at Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the Lord. 7Its drink offering shall be a quarter of a hin for each lamb. In the Holy Place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the Lord. 8The other lamb you shall offer at twilight. Like the grain offering of the morning, and like its drink offering, you shall offer it as a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. Sabbath Offerings
9“On the Sabbath day, two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering: 10this is qthe burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.2 Kings 3:20
20The next morning, about the time of roffering the sacrifice, behold, water came from the direction of Edom, till the country was filled with water.Daniel 9:21
21while I was speaking in prayer, the man sGabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, tcame to me in swift flight at uthe time of the evening sacrifice.Daniel 9:27
27And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, ▼▼Or seven; twice in this verse
and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. wAnd on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until xthe decreed end is poured out on the desolator.” Daniel 11:31
31Forces from him shall appear and yprofane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And zthey shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.Daniel 12:11
11And from the time that aathe regular burnt offering is taken away and abthe abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.
