1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the ^amountain of God.

Exodus 3:12

12 He said, ^b“But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, ^cyou shall serve God on this mountain.”

Exodus 19:11

11 and be ready for the third day. For on the third day ^dthe Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Exodus 19:20

20 The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
