The Burning Bush

1Now Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian, and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the amountain of God.

Exodus 3:12

12He said, bBut I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, cyou shall serve God on this mountain.”

Exodus 19:11

11and be ready for the third day. For on the third day dthe Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Exodus 19:20

20The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Exodus 24:16-17

16 eThe glory of the Lord dwelt on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a fdevouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.

1 Kings 19:8

8And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food gforty days and forty nights to hHoreb, the mount of God.
