8and aI have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and bto bring them up out of that land to a cgood and broad land, a land dflowing with milk and honey, to the place of ethe Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Deuteronomy 6:10-11

10“And when the Lord your God brings you into the land that he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you—with great and good cities fthat you did not build, 11and houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant—and when you eat and are full,

Deuteronomy 11:10-12

10For the land that you are entering to take possession of it is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and irrigated it,
Hebrew watered it with your feet
like a garden of vegetables.
11 hBut the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, 12a land that the Lord your God cares for. iThe eyes of the Lord your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

Nehemiah 9:24-25

24 jSo the descendants went in and possessed the land, kand you subdued before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gave them into their hand, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would. 25And they captured lfortified cities and ma rich land, and took possession of nhouses full of all good things, cisterns already hewn, vineyards, olive orchards and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled oand became fat and delighted themselves in pyour great goodness.

Psalms 65:9-13

9 You visit the earth and qwater it;

you greatly enrich it;
sthe river of God is full of water;
tyou provide their grain,
for so you have prepared it.
10You water its furrows abundantly,
settling its ridges,

Ezekiel 20:6
