The Altar of Incense

1 a“You shall make ban altar on which to burn incense; you shall make it of acacia wood. 2A cubit
A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth. It shall be square, and two cubits shall be its height. dIts horns shall be of one piece with it.
3You shall eoverlay it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And you shall make a molding of gold around it. 4And you shall make two golden rings for it. Under its molding on two opposite sides of it you shall make them, and they shall be fholders for poles with which to carry it. 5You shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

Exodus 40:5

5 gAnd you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.

Exodus 40:26-27

26 hHe put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil, 27and burned fragrant incense on it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
