Exodus 30:15-16

15The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than athe half shekel, when you give the Lord’s offering to make atonement for your lives. 16You shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel and shall bgive it for the service of the tent of meeting, that it may bring the people of Israel to cremembrance before the Lord, so as to make atonement for your lives.”

Leviticus 14:18

18And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. dThen the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.

Leviticus 14:20

20And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the egrain offering on the altar. fThus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
