10Now therefore alet me alone, that bmy wrath may burn hot against them and cI may consume them, in order that dI may make a great nation of you.”

14And the Lord erelented from the disaster that he had spoken of bringing on his people.

Exodus 33:15-17

15And he said to him, fIf your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here. 16For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? gIs it not in your going with us, hso that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?”

17And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, ifor you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”

Numbers 14:12

12I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I jwill make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”

Deuteronomy 32:26-27

26 kI would have said, “I will cut them to pieces;
lI will wipe them from human memory,”
27had I not feared provocation by the enemy,
lest their adversaries should misunderstand,
lest they should say, m“Our hand is triumphant,
it was not the Lord who did all this.”’

Jeremiah 18:7-10

7If at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom, that I will ppluck up and break down and destroy it, 8and if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, qturns from its evil, rI will relent of the disaster that I intended to do to it. 9And if at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will sbuild and plant it, 10and if it does evil in my sight, not listening to my voice, then I will relent of the good that I had intended to do to it.
