Exodus 32:10-13

10Now therefore alet me alone, that bmy wrath may burn hot against them and cI may consume them, in order that dI may make a great nation of you.”

11But eMoses implored the Lord his God and said, “O Lord, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 fWhy should the Egyptians say, ‘With evil intent did he bring them out, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from your burning anger and grelent from this disaster against your people. 13Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you hswore by your own self, and said to them, i‘I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have promised I will give to your offspring, and they shall inherit it forever.’”

Numbers 11:29

29But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? jWould that all the Lord’s people were prophets, that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!”

John 3:26-30

26And they came to John and said to him, kRabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, lto whom you bore witnesslook, he is baptizing, and mall are going to him.” 27John answered, n“A person cannot receive even one thing ounless it is given him pfrom heaven. 28You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, qI am not the Christ, but rI have been sent before him.’ 29 sThe one who has the bride is the bridegroom. tThe friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, urejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. 30 vHe must increase, but I must decrease.”

John 11:4

John 13:31-32

A New Commandment

31When he had gone out, Jesus said, aaNow is the Son of Man glorified, and abGod is glorified in him. 32If God is glorified in him, acGod will also glorify him in himself, and adglorify him at once.

John 17:4-5

4I aeglorified you on earth, afhaving accomplished the work that you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, agglorify me in your own presence with the glory ahthat I had with you aibefore the world existed.
