Deuteronomy 9:26

26 ^bAnd I prayed to the Lord, ‘O Lord God, do not destroy your people and your heritage, whom you have redeemed through your greatness, whom you have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

Isaiah 63:16-19

16 For ^cyou are our Father,
though Abraham does not know us,

Isaiah 64:8-12

Behold, please look, we are all your people.
10 ^pYour holy cities have become a wilderness;
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation.

has been burned by fire,

12 ^sWill you restrain yourself at these things, O Lord?
Will you keep silent, and afflict us so terribly?

Jeremiah 14:20-21
