Exodus 32:11-12

11But aMoses implored the Lord his God and said, “O Lord, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, whom you have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? 12 bWhy should the Egyptians say, ‘With evil intent did he bring them out, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from your burning anger and crelent from this disaster against your people.

Exodus 34:9

9And he said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, please dlet the Lord go in the midst of us, for eit is a stiff-necked people, and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for fyour inheritance.”

Numbers 14:17-19

17And now, please let the power of the Lord be great as you have promised, saying, 18 g‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, hvisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’ 19Please ipardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just jas you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.”

Jeremiah 14:7

7 Though our iniquities testify against us,
act, O Lord, kfor your name’s sake;
lfor our backslidings are many;
mwe have sinned against you.

Jeremiah 14:20-21

20 nWe acknowledge our wickedness, O Lord,
and the iniquity of our fathers,
ofor we have sinned against you.
21Do not spurn us, pfor your name’s sake;
do not dishonor your glorious throne;
qremember and do not break your covenant with us.

Daniel 9:19

19O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. rDelay not, sfor your own sake, O my God, because tyour city and uyour people are called by your name.”

Amos 7:5
