Exodus 32:17-18

17When aJoshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is a noise of war in the camp.” 18But he said, “It is not the sound of bshouting for victory, or the sound of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing that I hear.”

Joshua 6:10

10But Joshua commanded the people, “You shall not shout or make your voice heard, neither shall any word go out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”
