Exodus 32:2-4
2So Aaron said to them, “Take off the arings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3So all the people took off the rings of gold that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. 4 bAnd he received the gold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden ▼▼Hebrew cast metal; also verse 8
calf. And they said, d“These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!” Exodus 32:24
24So eI said to them, ‘Let any who have gold take it off.’ So they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf.”Exodus 35:22
22So they came, both men and women. All who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and armlets, all sorts of gold objects, every man dedicating an offering of gold to the Lord.Ezekiel 16:10-13
10 fI clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with fine leather. I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk. ▼▼Or with rich fabric
11 hAnd I adorned you with ornaments and iput bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck. 12And I put a ring on your nose and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. 13Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth. jYou ate fine flour and honey and oil. kYou grew exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty.
