21 And Moses said to Aaron, ^a“What did this people do to you that you have brought such a great sin upon them?”

1 Kings 13:33-34

33 After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made priests for the high places again from among all the people. Any who would, he ordained to be priests of the high places. 34 ^bAnd this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, ^cso as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.

1 Kings 14:16

16 And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he sinned and made Israel to sin.”

and ^vthe kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,
and ^wthe merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.”
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,

^x“Come out of her, my people,
lest you take part in her sins,
lest you share in her plagues;
5 for ^yher sins are heaped high as heaven,
and ^zGod has remembered her iniquities.
