Deuteronomy 13:6-11

6 ^b“If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or ^cthe wife you embrace ^{▼▼Hebrew the wife of your bosom} or your friend ^ewho is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ ^fwhich neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 some ^gof the gods of the peoples who are around you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, 8 you shall ^hnot yield to him or listen to him, nor ⁱshall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. 9 But you shall kill him. ^jYour hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. 10 ^kYou shall stone him to death with stones, because he sought to draw you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 11 And ^lall Israel shall hear and fear and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.

Ezekiel 9:5-7

5 And to ^mthe others he said in my hearing, “Pass through the city after him, and strike. ⁿYour eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity. 6 ^oKill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but ^ptouch no one on whom is the mark. And ^qbegin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were before the house. 7 Then he said to them, ^r“Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out.” So they went out and struck in the city.
