Exodus 34:6-7

fforgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but gwho will by no means clear the guilty, hvisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

2 Kings 13:23

23 iBut the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them, jand he turned toward them, kbecause of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, nor has he cast them from his presence until now.

2 Chronicles 30:9

9For lif you return to the Lord, your brothers and your children mwill find compassion with their captors and return to this land. For nthe Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, oif you return to him.”

Nehemiah 9:17

17They refused to obey pand were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt.
