Job 4:17

Can a man be pure before his Maker?

Job 9:2-3

20For qby works of the law no human being
Greek flesh
will be justified in his sight, since sthrough the law comes knowledge of sin.

Galatians 2:16

16yet we know that ta person is not justified
Or counted righteous (three times in verse 16); also verse 17
by works of the law vbut through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, wbecause by works of the law no one will be justified.
