Exodus 35:21-22

21And they came, aeveryone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit moved him, band brought the Lord’s contribution to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments. 22So they came, both men and women. All who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and armlets, all sorts of gold objects, every man dedicating an offering of gold to the Lord.

Exodus 35:29

29 cAll the men and women, the people of Israel, whose heart moved them to bring anything for the work that the Lord had commanded by Moses to be done brought it as a freewill offering to the Lord.

1 Chronicles 29:3

3Moreover, in addition to all that I have provided for the holy house, I have a treasure of my own of gold and silver, and because of my devotion to the house of my God I give it to the house of my God:

1 Chronicles 29:5

5and for all the work to be done by craftsmen, gold for the things of gold and silver for the things of silver. Who then will offer willingly, consecrating himself
Or ordaining himself; Hebrew filling his hand
today to the Lord?”

1 Chronicles 29:9

9Then the people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a ewhole heart they had offered freely to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

1 Chronicles 29:17

17I know, my God, fthat you test the heart and ghave pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you.

1 Corinthians 8:8

8 hFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do.

1 Corinthians 9:5-17

5 iDo we not have the right to take along a believing wife,
Greek  a sister as wife
as do the other apostles and kthe brothers of the Lord and lCephas?
6Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living? 7 mWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? nWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, o“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written pfor our sake, because qthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 rIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more?

Nevertheless, swe have not made use of this right, but we endure anything trather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.
13Do you not know that uthose who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? 14In the same way, the Lord commanded that vthose who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.

15But wI have made no use of any of these rights, nor am I writing these things to secure any such provision. For I would rather die than have anyone xdeprive me of my ground for boasting. 16For if I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For ynecessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! 17For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with za stewardship.
