Exodus 38:25-26

25The silver from those of the congregation who were recorded was a hundred talents and 1,775 shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary: 26a abeka
A  beka was about 1/5 ounce or 5.5 grams
a head (that is, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary), for everyone who was listed in the records, from twenty years old and upward, for c603,550 men.

Numbers 1:2-5

Numbers 26:2-4

Take a census of the people is implied (compare verse 2)
from twenty years old and upward,” as the Lord lcommanded Moses. The people of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt were:
