10But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but aI am slow of speech and of tongue.” 11Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12Now therefore go, and bI will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” 13But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.”Exodus 6:12

David’s Prayer of Gratitude
18Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and said, f“Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?1 Kings 3:7
7And now, O Lord my God, gyou have made your servant king in place of David my father, halthough I am but a little child. I do not know ihow to go out or come in.1 Kings 3:9
9 jGive your servant therefore an understanding mind kto govern your people, that I may ldiscern between good and evil, for who is able to govern this your great people?”Isaiah 6:5-8
5And I said: “Woe is me! mFor I am lost; nfor I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the oKing, the Lord of hosts!”6Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7And he ptouched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”
Isaiah’s Commission from the Lord
8And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for qus?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”Jeremiah 1:6
