Exodus 4:11-16

11Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12Now therefore go, and aI will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.” 13But he said, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.” 14Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses and he said, “Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Behold, bhe is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. 15 cYou shall speak to him and dput the words in his mouth, and eI will be with your mouth and with his mouth and will teach you both what to do. 16 fHe shall speak for you to the people, and he shall be your mouth, and gyou shall be as God to him.

Jeremiah 1:6-10

6Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, hI do not know how to speak, ifor I am only a youth.” 7But the Lord said to me,

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and jwhatever I command you, you shall speak.
8 kDo not be afraid of them,
lfor I am with you to deliver you,

declares the Lord.”
9 mThen the Lord put out his hand and ntouched my mouth. And the Lord said to me,

Behold, I have put omy words in your mouth.
10See, I have set you this day pover nations and over kingdoms,
qto pluck up and to break down,
to destroy and to overthrow,
to build and to plant.”

Matthew 10:19-20

19 rWhen sthey deliver you over, tdo not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for uwhat you are to say will be given to you in that hour. 20 vFor it is not you who speak, but wthe Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Luke 21:15

15for xI will give you a mouth and ywisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or zcontradict.

Luke 24:49

49And behold, I am sending aathe promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you abare clothed with acpower adfrom on high.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

9But he said to me, aeMy grace is sufficient for you, for afmy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that agthe power of Christ may rest upon me.
