An  ephah was about 3/5 bushel or 22 liters; a  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams

Haggai 1:2-4

2Thus says the Lord of hosts: These people say the time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.” 3Then the word of the Lord came eby the hand of Haggai the prophet, 4 f“Is it a time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, while gthis house lies in ruins?

Malachi 1:7-10

7 hBy offering polluted food upon my altar. iBut you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that jthe Lord’s table may be despised. 8 kWhen you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says the Lord of hosts. 9And now lentreat the favor of God, that he may be gracious to us. With such a gift from your hand, mwill he show favor to any of you? says the Lord of hosts. 10 nOh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you, says the Lord of hosts, oand I will not accept an offering from your hand.

Malachi 1:13

13But you say, pWhat a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. qYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.
