Exodus 5:22-23

22Then Moses turned to the Lord and said, “O Lord, why have you done evil to this people? Why did you ever send me? 23For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has done evil to this people, and you have not delivered your people at all.”

Joshua 7:7-9

7And Joshua said, “Alas, O Lord God, awhy have you brought this people over the Jordan at all, to give us into the hands of the Amorites, to destroy us? Would that we had been content to dwell beyond the Jordan! 8O Lord, what can I say, when Israel has turned their backs before their enemies! 9For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it and will surround us and bcut off our name from the earth. And what will you do for your great name?”

1 Samuel 11:13

13But Saul said, cNot a man shall be put to death this day, for today dthe Lord has worked esalvation in Israel.”

1 Samuel 14:45

45Then the people said to Saul, “Shall Jonathan die, who has worked this great salvation in Israel? Far from it! fAs the Lord lives, gthere shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day.” So the people ransomed Jonathan, so that he did not die.
