Exodus 8:8

8Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said, aPlead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and bI will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

Exodus 8:15

15But when Pharaoh saw that there was a crespite, he dhardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

Exodus 9:28

28 ePlead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”

Exodus 9:34-35

34But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet again and fhardened his heart, ghe and his servants. 35So hthe heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people of Israel go, just as the Lord had spoken through Moses.

Exodus 10:17-20

17Now therefore, forgive my sin, please, only this once, and iplead with the Lord your God only to remove this death from me.” 18So jhe went out from Pharaoh and pleaded with the Lord. 19And the Lord turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locusts and drove them kinto the Red Sea. Not a single locust was left in all the country of Egypt. 20But the Lord lhardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the people of Israel go.

Exodus 14:3-9

3For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel, ‘They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’ 4And mI will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them, and I will nget glory over Pharaoh and all his host, oand the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord.” And they did so.

5When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, the pmind of Pharaoh and his servants was changed toward the people, and they said, “What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?” 6So he made ready his chariot and took his army with him, 7and took qsix hundred chosen chariots and all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them. 8And rthe Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the people of Israel while sthe people of Israel were going out defiantly. 9The tEgyptians pursued them, all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and his horsemen and his army, and overtook them uencamped at the sea, by Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

1 Samuel 19:6-11

6And Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan. Saul swore, v“As the Lord lives, he shall not be put to death.” 7And Jonathan called David, and Jonathan reported to him all these things. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence was before.

8And there was war again. And David went out and fought with the Philistines and struck them with a great blow, so that they fled before him. 9 xThen a harmful spirit from the Lord came upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand. yAnd David was playing the lyre. 10 zAnd Saul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he eluded Saul, so that he struck the spear into the wall. And David fled and escaped that night.

11 aaSaul sent messengers to David’s house to watch him, that he might kill him in the morning. But Michal, David’s wife, told him, “If you do not escape with your life tonight, tomorrow you will be killed.”

Jeremiah 34:21

21And abZedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon acwhich has withdrawn from you.

Jeremiah 37:5

5 adThe army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when aethe Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, afthey withdrew from Jerusalem.
