8Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron and said, aPlead with the Lord to take away the frogs from me and from my people, and bI will let the people go to sacrifice to the Lord.”

Exodus 8:28

28So Pharaoh said, “I will let you go to sacrifice to the Lord your God in the wilderness; only you must not go very far away. cPlead for me.”

Exodus 9:28

28 dPlead with the Lord, for there has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”

king of Babylon is making war against us. Perhaps the Lord will deal with us according to pall his wonderful deeds and will make him withdraw from us.”

Jeremiah 42:2-4

2and said to Jeremiah the prophet, “Let qour plea for mercy come before you, and rpray to the Lord your God for us, for all sthis remnanttbecause we are left with but a few, as your eyes see us— 3that uthe Lord your God may show us the way we should go, and the thing that we should do.” 4Jeremiah the prophet said to them, “I have heard you. Behold, I will pray to the Lord your God according to your request, and vwhatever the Lord answers you I will tell you. wI will keep nothing back from you.”

Jeremiah 42:20

20that you have gone astray at the cost of your lives. xFor you sent me to the Lord your God, saying, yPray for us to the Lord our God, and zwhatever the Lord our God says, declare to us and we will do it.’
