11 And ^athe magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils came upon the magicians and upon all the Egyptians.

Daniel 1:20

20 And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all ^bthe magicians and ^cenchanters that were in all his kingdom.

Daniel 2:10-12

10 ^dThe Chaldeans answered the king and said, “There is not a man on earth who can meet the king’s demand, for no great and powerful king has asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or ^eChaldean. 11 The thing that the king asks is difficult, and no one can show it to the king except ^fthe gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

12 Because of this the king was angry and ^gvery furious, and ^hcommanded that all ⁱthe wise men of Babylon be destroyed.

Daniel 4:7

7 Then ^jthe magicians, the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the astrologers came in, and I told them the dream, but ^kthey could not make known to me its interpretation.

Daniel 5:6-8

6 ^lThen the king’s color changed, ^mand his thoughts alarmed him; ⁿhis limbs gave way, and ^ohis knees knocked together. 7 ^pThe king called loudly to bring in ^qthe enchanters, the ^rChaldeans, and ^sthe astrologers. The king declared ^{▼▼Aramaic answered and said; also verse 10} to the wise men of Babylon, ^u“Whoever reads this writing, and shows me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck and ^vshall be the third ruler in the kingdom.” 8 Then all the king’s wise men came in, but ^wthey could not read the writing or make known to the king the interpretation.
