Exodus 9:14-17

14For this time I will send all my plagues on you yourself,
Hebrew  on your heart
and on your servants and your people, so bthat you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.
15For by now I could have put out my hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth. 16 cBut for this purpose I have raised you up, to show you my power, so dthat my name may be proclaimed in all the earth. 17 eYou are still exalting yourself against my people and will not let them go.

Exodus 14:17-18

17And fI will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and gI will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen. 18And the Egyptians hshall know that I am the Lord, iwhen I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”

Job 6:10

10This would be my comfort;
I would even exult

in pain kunsparing,
for I have not denied the words of lthe Holy One.
