Exodus 9:17

17 aYou are still exalting yourself against my people and will not let them go.

Exodus 10:3

3So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, ‘How long will you refuse to bhumble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.

Isaiah 10:12-15

12 cWhen the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, dhe
Hebrew I
will punish the speech of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the boastful look in his eyes.
13 fFor he says:

“By the strength of my hand I have done it,
and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;
I remove the boundaries of peoples,
and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.
14My hand has found like a nest
the wealth of the peoples;
and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,
so I have gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved a wing
or opened the mouth or chirped.”
15 Shall gthe axe boast over him who hews with it,
or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?
As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,
or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

Isaiah 37:22-29

22this is the word that the Lord has spoken concerning him:

“‘She despises you, she scorns you—
hthe virgin daughter of Zion;
she wags her head behind you—
the daughter of Jerusalem.
23 “‘Whom have you mocked and reviled?
Against whom have you raised your voice
and lifted your eyes to the heights?
Against ithe Holy One of Israel!
24By your servants you have mocked the Lord,
and you have said, jWith my many chariots
I have gone up the heights of the mountains,
to the far recesses of Lebanon,
kto cut down its tallest cedars,
its choicest cypresses,
to come to its remotest height,
its most fruitful forest.
25I dug wells
and drank waters,
to dry up with the sole of my foot
all lthe streams mof Egypt.
26 n“‘Have you not heard
that I determined it long ago?
I planned from days of old
what now I bring to pass,
that you should make fortified cities
crash into heaps of ruins,
27while their inhabitants, shorn of strength,
are dismayed and confounded,
and have become like plants of the field
and like tender grass,
like grass on the housetops,
blighted
Some Hebrew manuscripts and 2 Kings 19:26; most Hebrew manuscripts  like a field
before it is grown.
28 “‘I know your sitting down
and your going out and coming in,
and your raging against me.
29 pBecause you have raged against me
and your complacency has come to my ears,
I will put my hook in your nose
and my bit in your mouth,
and qI will turn you back on the way
by which you came.’

Ezekiel 38:14-18

14Therefore, rson of man, prophesy, and say to sGog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are tdwelling securely, uwill you not know it? 15You will come from your place out of vthe uttermost parts of the north, you and wmany peoples with you, xall of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army. 16You will come up against my people Israel, ylike a cloud covering the land. zIn the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, aaI vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

17Thus says the Lord God: Are you abhe of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them? 18But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God, acmy wrath will be roused in my anger.
