Exodus 9:17

17 aYou are still exalting yourself against my people and will not let them go.

Proverbs 30:13

13There are thosehow blofty are their eyes,
how high their eyelids lift!

Isaiah 10:13-15

13 cFor he says:

“By the strength of my hand I have done it,
and by my wisdom, for I have understanding;
I remove the boundaries of peoples,
and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.
14My hand has found like a nest
the wealth of the peoples;
and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken,
so I have gathered all the earth;
and there was none that moved a wing
or opened the mouth or chirped.”
15 Shall dthe axe boast over him who hews with it,
or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it?
As if a rod should wield him who lifts it,
or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

Isaiah 14:13-14

13You said in your heart,
e‘I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
fI will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
in the far reaches of the north;
Or  in the remote parts of Zaphon

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’

Ezekiel 28:2

2 hSon of man, say to ithe prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord God:

j“Because your heart is proud,
and kyou have said, ‘I am a god,
I sit in the seat of the gods,
in the heart of the seas,’
yet lyou are but a man, and no god,
mthough you make your heart like the heart of a god

Ezekiel 28:9

9 nWill you still say, ‘I am a god,’
in the presence of those who kill you,
though oyou are but a man, and no god,
in the hands of those who slay you?

Daniel 5:20-23

20But pwhen his heart was lifted up and his spirit was hardened so that he dealt proudly, qhe was brought down from his kingly throne, and his glory was taken from him. 21 rHe was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, suntil he knew that the tMost High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will. 22And you his son,
Or successor
vBelshazzar, whave not humbled your heart, though you knew all this,
23but you have lifted up yourself against xthe Lord of heaven. And ythe vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. zAnd you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, aabut the God in whose hand is your breath, and abwhose are all your ways, acyou have not honored.
