The Sixth Plague: Boils

8And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the kiln, and let Moses throw them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh. 9It shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and become aboils breaking out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.” 10So they took soot from the kiln and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses threw it in the air, and it became boils breaking out in sores on man and beast.

Psalms 18:12-13

12Out of the brightness before him
bhailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.
13 The Lord also cthundered in the heavens,
and the Most High uttered his dvoice,
hailstones and coals of fire.

Psalms 140:10

10Let eburning coals fall upon them!
Let them be cast into fire,
into miry pits, no more to rise!

Isaiah 6:6-7

6Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7And he ftouched my mouth and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.”

Ezekiel 1:13

13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was glike burning coals of fire, hlike the appearance of torches moving to and fro among the living creatures. iAnd the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Revelation of John 8:5

5Then the angel took the censer and jfilled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and kthere were peals of lthunder, rumblings,
