7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: ^aYour slain whom you have laid in the midst of it, ^bthey are the meat, and ^cthis city is the cauldron, but you shall be brought out of the midst of it.

Ezekiel 24:3-6

3 And ^dutter a parable to ^ethe rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:

“Set on ^fthe pot, set it on;
pour in water also;
4 put in it the pieces of meat,
all the good pieces, ^gthe thigh and the shoulder;
fill it with choice bones.
5 Take the choicest one of the flock;
pile the logs ^{▼▼Compare verse 10; Hebrew the bones} under it;
boil it well;
seethe also its bones in it.
6 “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ⁱWoe to the bloody city, to ^jthe pot whose corrosion is in it, and whose corrosion has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, without making any choice. ^{▼▼Hebrew no lot has fallen upon it}

Micah 4:12

12 But ^lthey do not know
the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,

Matthew 13:30

30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, " ⁿGather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn."’”

Matthew 13:40-42

40 Just as the weeds ^oare gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at ^pthe end of the age. 41 ^qThe Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all ^rcauses of sin and ^sall law-breakers, 42 ^tand throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place ^uthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
