Ezekiel 12:12-14

12 ^aAnd the prince who is among them shall lift his baggage upon his shoulder at dusk, and shall go out. ^bThey shall dig through the wall to bring him out through it. ^cHe shall cover his face, that he may not see the land with his eyes. 13 ^dAnd I will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare. And ^eI will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, ^fyet he shall not see it, and he shall die there. 14 ^gAnd I will scatter toward every wind all who are around him, his helpers and all his troops, ^hand I will unsheathe the sword after them.

Ezekiel 17:20-21

The Destruction of Israel

^xand shatter them on the heads of all the people; ^{▼▼Hebrew all of them}
and those who are left of them I will kill with the sword;
^znot one of them shall flee away;
not one of them shall escape.
2 ^aa“If they dig into Sheol,
from there shall my hand take them;
^abif they climb up to heaven,
from there I will bring them down.
3 If they hide themselves on ^acthe top of Carmel,
from there I will search them out and take them;
^adand if they hide from my sight at the bottom of the sea,
there I will command the serpent, and it shall bite them.
4 ^aeAnd if they go into captivity before their enemies,
there I will command the sword, and it shall kill them;
^afand I will fix my eyes upon them
for evil and not for good.”
