Ezekiel 14:13

13 aSon of man, when a land sins against me bby acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it and cbreak its supply
Hebrew staff
of bread and send famine upon it, and ecut off from it man and beast,

Ezekiel 14:21

21For thus says the Lord God: How much more fwhen I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, gsword, hfamine, iwild beasts, and jpestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!

Joel 1:10-11

10The fields are destroyed,
kthe ground mourns,
because lthe grain is destroyed,
mthe wine dries up,
the oil languishes.
11 nBe ashamed,
The Hebrew words for  dry up and  be ashamed in verses 10–12, 17 sound alike
O tillers of the soil;
wail, O vinedressers,
for the wheat and the barley,
pbecause the harvest of the field has perished.

Joel 1:16-20

16Is not the food cut off
before our eyes,
qjoy and gladness
from the house of our God?
17 rThe seed shrivels under the clods;
The meaning of the Hebrew line is uncertain

the storehouses are desolate;
the granaries are torn down
because tthe grain has dried up.
18How uthe beasts groan!
The herds of cattle are perplexed
because there is no pasture for them;
even the flocks of sheep suffer.
Or are made desolate

19 To you, wO Lord, I call.
xFor fire has devoured
the pastures of the wilderness,
yand flame has burned
all the trees of the field.
20Even the beasts of the field zpant for you
because the water brooks are dried up,
aaand fire has devoured
the pastures of the wilderness.
