17 “Or ^aif I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land, ^band I cut off from it man and beast,

Ezekiel 21:3-5

3 and say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord: ^cBehold, I am against you and will draw ^dmy sword from its sheath and ^ewill cut off from you both righteous and wicked. 4 Because I will cut off from you both righteous and wicked, therefore my sword shall be drawn from its sheath against all flesh from south to north. 5 ^fAnd all flesh shall know that I am the Lord. I have drawn ^gmy sword from its sheath; ^hit shall not be sheathed again.
