Ezekiel 16:36-38

36 Thus says the Lord God, Because your lust was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your whorings with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, ^aand because of the blood of your children that you gave to them, 37 therefore, behold, ^bI will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and ^call those you hated. ^dI will gather them against you from every side ^eand will uncover your nakedness to them, that ^fthey may see all your nakedness. 38 ^gAnd I will judge you ^has women who commit adultery and ⁱshed blood are judged, and bring upon you the blood of wrath and jealousy.

Ezekiel 23:37

37 For ^jthey have committed adultery, ^kand blood is on their hands. With their idols they have committed adultery, and they have even ^loffered up ^{▼▼Or have even made pass through the fire} to them for food the children whom they had borne to me.
