Ezekiel 18:26-27

26 aWhen a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it; for the injustice that he has done he shall die. 27Again, bwhen a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life.

Ezekiel 33:12-13

12 c“And you, son of man, say to dyour people, eThe righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him when he transgresses, fand as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall by it when he turns from his wickedness, gand the righteous shall not be able to live by his righteousness
Hebrew  by it
when he sins.
13Though I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, yet iif he trusts in his righteousness and does injustice, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered, but in his injustice that he has done he shall die.

Hebrews 10:38

38 jbut my righteous one shall live by faith,
and if he shrinks back,
my soul has no pleasure in him.”

2 Peter 2:20-22

20For if, kafter they have escaped the defilements of the world lthrough the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, mthe last state has become worse for them than the first. 21For nit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from othe holy commandment delivered to them. 22What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The pdog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
