Ezekiel 18:26-27
26 aWhen a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it; for the injustice that he has done he shall die. 27Again, bwhen a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life.Ezekiel 33:12-13

2 Peter 2:20-22
20For if, kafter they have escaped the defilements of the world lthrough the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, mthe last state has become worse for them than the first. 21For nit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from othe holy commandment delivered to them. 22What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The pdog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
