Ezekiel 18:27-28

27Again, awhen a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. 28Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Ezekiel 33:7-9

7 b“So you, cson of man, I have made a watchman for the house of Israel. dWhenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. 8 eIf I say to the wicked, O wicked one, you shall surely die, fand you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, gthat wicked person shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 hBut if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, ithat person shall die in his iniquity, jbut you will have delivered your soul.

Ezekiel 33:14-16

14Again, kthough I say to the wicked, l‘You shall surely die,’ yet mif he turns from his sin and does what is just and right, 15if the wicked nrestores the pledge, ogives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks pin the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 16 qNone of the sins that he has committed shall be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he shall surely live.

Matthew 3:7-9

Who warned you to flee from vthe wrath to come? 8Bear fruit win keeping with repentance. 9And do not presume to say to yourselves, x‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I tell you, God is able from ythese stones to raise up children for Abraham.

Luke 3:7-9

7He said therefore to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him, z“You brood of aavipers! Who warned you to flee from abthe wrath to come? 8Bear fruits acin keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, ad‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you, God is able from aethese stones to raise up children for Abraham. 9Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. afEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”
