Ezekiel 18:30-32

30Therefore aI will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord God. bRepent and turn from all your transgressions, clest iniquity be your ruin.
Or lest iniquity be your stumbling block
31 eCast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and fmake yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! gWhy will you die, O house of Israel? 32 hFor I have no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord God; iso turn, and live.”

Hosea 14:1-4

A Plea to Return to the Lord

1 jReturn, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
for kyou have stumbled because of your iniquity.
2Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
Take away all iniquity;
accept lwhat is good,
and we will pay with bulls
mthe vows
Septuagint, Syriac  pay the fruit
of our lips.
3 oAssyria shall not save us;
pwe will not ride on horses;
and qwe will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
rIn you the orphan finds mercy.”
4 I swill heal their apostasy;
tI will love them freely,
for my anger has turned from them.

Zechariah 1:3-4

3Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: uReturn to me, says the Lord of hosts, and vI will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. 4 wDo not be like your fathers, xto whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, yReturn from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But zthey did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the Lord.

Acts 26:20

20but declared first aato those in Damascus, abthen in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also acto the Gentiles, that they should adrepent and aeturn to God, performing deeds afin keeping with their repentance.
