Hosea 14:1-4

A Plea to Return to the Lord

1 ^jReturn, O Israel, to the Lord your God,
for ^kyou have stumbled because of your iniquity.
2 Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept ^lwhat is good,
and we will pay with bulls
^mthe vows ^{▼▼Septuagint, Syriac pay the fruit} of our lips.
3 ^oAssyria shall not save us;
^pwe will not ride on horses;
and ^qwe will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
^rIn you the orphan finds mercy.”
4 I ^swill heal their apostasy;
^tI will love them freely,
for my anger has turned from them.

Zechariah 1:3-4

Acts 26:20
