Ezekiel 20:49

49 Then I said, ^a“Ah, Lord God! They are saying of me, ^b‘Is he not a maker of parables?’”

3 And ^cutter a parable to ^dthe rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God:

“Set on ^ethe pot, set it on;
pour in water also;

3 And ^fhe told them many things in parables, saying: ^g“A sower went out to sow.

13 This is why I speak to them in parables, because ^hseeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, ⁱnor do they understand.
