Eze 20:7-8, 23:19-21 | ESV | STEP | And I said to them, ' Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt ; I am the Lord your God .'

Ezekiel 20:7-8

7 And I said to them, ' ^aCast away the detestable things ^byour eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with ^cthe idols of Egypt; ^dI am the Lord your God.' 8 ^eBut they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. ^fNone of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them ^gand spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 23:19-21

19 Yet she increased her whoring, ^hremembering the days of her youth, when she played the whore in the land of Egypt 20 and lusted after her lovers there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose issue was like that of horses. 21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom and pressed ^{▼▼Vulgate, Syriac; Hebrew bosom for the sake of} your young breasts.”
