Eze 20:7-8, 23:3 | ESV | STEP | And I said to them, ' Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt ; I am the Lord your God .'

Ezekiel 20:7-8

7 And I said to them, ' ^aCast away the detestable things ^byour eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with ^cthe idols of Egypt; ^dI am the Lord your God.' 8 ^eBut they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. ^fNone of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them ^gand spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 23:3

3 ^hThey played the whore in Egypt; ⁱthey played the whore ^jin their youth; there their breasts were pressed and their virgin bosoms ^{▼▼Hebrew nipples; also verses 8, 21} handled.
